-has taught World Language for at least five years
-is currently teaching or working in a field related to world languages
-has been a member of FFLA for at least three years
-has attended at least three FFLA conferences prior to the current conference
Who can nominate?
-Any FFLA member in good standing
-An associated league
-Individuals who are members in good standing can also self-nominate
*Nominators are encouraged to nominate wisely across member constituency and candidate qualifications in order to ensure competent FFLA leadership.*
To make a nomination, the following items must be submitted electronically:
-Name and contact information of nominee (e-mail and phone number)
-Nominee CV or résumé
-Letter of Nomination* - why the nominee is qualified to serve as FFLA president *The letter should verify the candidate's willingness to have his/her name placed in nomination AND that the nominee will provide all biographical materials in a timely fashion for the election page on the FFLA website to go live in early November.

Materials Required for Candidates Approved for the Ballot (Once nominations are reviewed and approved)
Once chosen as a candidate for election, all candidates will submit the following items to be posted on the FFLA election page.
· Recent photo (color, jpeg, headshot)
· Curriculum vitae.
· Brief bio of up to 250 words
· Statement of candidacy (approximately 250 words)
These items are NOT required at the time of nomination, only once the candidate slate has been notified that they will be on the ballot.
